PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat radiation roller which prevents the occurrence of image staining by preventing the falling-off of the accumulated layer of toner recovered onto its surface, and also to provide a fixing device equipped with the roller. SOLUTION: The fixing device 5 has: a heater (heating means) 5b; a pressure roller (pressure means) 5a being a roller body brought into press-contact with the heater 5b; and a cleaning means for the roller body, which comes into contact with the roller 5a, and fixes an image by holding and feeding recording material 2 carrying an unfixed image by a fixing nip part (press-contact part) N between the heater 5b and the roller 5a. In the device the cleaning means is a metallic roller, or the heat radiation roller 13 constituted by forming a granular sintered part on the surface of the metallic roller and forming a gap in which a toner layer is intruded and adsorbed on the surface of the sintered part.
