A packaging device comprising: (a) At least one disc-shaped media having an annular centre aperture through the media; (b) A first member having a first chamber for receiving the disc-shaped media, the first member including a first opening for providing access into the first chamber, wherein the first member includes a first interior surface and a first exterior surface; (c) A second member having a second member chamber for receiving materials other than the disc-shaped media, the second member including a second opening for providing access into the second chamber, wherein the first member is adapted to be removable from the second member about the second opening to thereby uncover the second opening; (d) A means for supporting and protecting the recording media within the first chamber against lineal movement in either the plan of the media or perpendicular to the plane of the recording media, while simultaneously allowing the recording media to rotate about the axis perpendicular to the plane of the recording media. Wherein the means for supporting and protecting compromises a centre support mounted on and extending from the first interior surface adapted to be inserted into and engaged within the centre annular aperture, the centre support including at least one inner projection to secure the disc thereon.
