PURPOSE:To reduce the diameter of a motor and to obtain the prescribed torque of the motor by nonlinearly forming the side of an armature coil, and disposing a permanent magnet so that the pole surface formed by the side of the coil and the field magnetic flux are substantially entirely crossed perpendicularly. CONSTITUTION:A rotor hub 20 is secured to a shaft 10, and an armature coil 30 is secured to the hub 20. The sides 31, 32 of the coil 30 are nonlinearly formed. Permanent magnets 61, 62 are formed substantially in L shape, and the field magnetic fluxes which is formed by the magnets 61, 62 cross perpendicularly to the pole surface which is formed by the sides 31, 32 of the coil. When the coil 30 is energized, a rotary torque is produced at the sides 31, 32 of the coil by the field magnetic fluxes due to the magnets 61, 62. |
