PURPOSE: A color LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) with a high aperture rate is provided to form a plurality of holes in a color resin layer while increasing the thickness of the color resin layer, to thereby decrease coupling capacitance and increase transmissivity. CONSTITUTION: A color LCD includes a lower substrate(1) on which thin film transistors and pixel electrodes are formed, an upper substrate opposite to the lower substrate, on which a counter electrode is formed, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the lower and upper substrates. A color resin layer(8) and a transparent resin layer(9) are laminated between the thin film transistors and the pixel electrodes to obtain a COA(Color filter On Array) structure. The color resin layer has a plurality of holes corresponding to the pixel electrodes.
