PURPOSE: A structure of a hanger for a muffler of a vehicle is provided to buffer vibration between the vehicle body and the exhaust system, and to attach and detach the muffler or the exhaust pipe conveniently by supporting the muffler or the exhaust pipe to the lower part of the vehicle body and mounting a locking plate and an operating lever to the rubber hanger body. CONSTITUTION: A hanger of a muffler for a vehicle is composed of a body(31) having an upper installation hole formed in the upper rectangular rubber part for inserting a hanger support(12) and a lower installation hole formed in the lower part for fitting a hanger rod(11), an operating space(38) longitudinally formed at the side of the body and communicated with the upper installation hole, a locking plate(40) having the curved section to press the lower part of the hanger support fitted to the upper installation hole and turning by a movable hinge outside the upper installation hole, an operating lever(50) stored in the operating space, connected to the front end of the locking plate by a link, combined with the body by a fixing hinge and composed of a hook link for locking, and a locking hook(60) turned in the lower part of the operating lever, hinge-combined with the body and fitted to the hook link of the operating lever.
