WATER-BASED PIGMENT DISPERSION AND WATER-BASED PIGMENT PRINTING LIQUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based pigment dispersion giving a water-based pigment printing liquid having yellow and clear hue and better in dispersion stability than before.

SOLUTION: The water-based pigment dispersion contains particles comprising a quinolonoquinolone-based pigment and an anionic group-containing organic polymer compound. In this dispersion, the particles are microdispersed with a mean size of ≤200 nm. The dispersed particles are composite particles where the quinolonoquinolone-based pigment is coated with the organic high-molecular compound which is neutralized. The water-based pigment printing liquid contains the above dispersion and the quinolonoquinolone-based pigment accounts for 1-8 mass% of the printing liquid.
