PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader in which frame elimination setting is changed for each original image. SOLUTION: By performing frame elimination setting for a front surface corresponding to a first original image and frame elimination setting for a rear surface corresponding to a second original image in a frame elimination setting image displayed in a touch panel display of an operation panel 2, a frame eliminating part 18 performs frame elimination processing on the basis of the frame elimination setting, the first and second original images are read and printed on paper by a printing part 41.
