PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and to prevent malfunction in a data output circuit which drives a load according to an input signal. SOLUTION: Switching circuits 3, 4 connect the load to be connected to a terminal OUT to a power source Vdd and a ground according to signals S1 to S4. A switching control circuit 1 turns on a turned-off transistor after turning off a turned-on transistor when switching the on/off of the transistors M1, M2 of a switching circuit 3 according to the input signal IN. A switching control circuit 2 is activated by a control signal CN and turns on a turned-off transistor after turning off a turned-on transistor when switching the on/off of the transistors M3, M4 of a switching circuit 4 according to the input signal IN. Inverter circuits Z5, Z10 are constituted so that the switching control circuits 1, 2 do not simultaneously turn on the transistors M1, M2 of the switching circuit 3 and the transistors M3, M4 of the switching circuit 4.
