PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylene copolymer composition high in fluidity, productivity, etc., capable of preparing a molding excellent in heat resistance, tensile strength, flexibility, high-frequency weldability, and scratch resistance, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The ethylene copolymer composition comprises a specified proportion of a specified polymer composition [X] and a specified proportion of an acrylic modified polyorganosiloxane [Y]. The polymer composition [X] is obtained by subjecting a resin (A), which comprises at least one ethylene copolymer selected from the group consisting of a specified ethylene-vinylester copolymer and a specified ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer, and a resin (B), which is a specified binary or higher propylene copolymer or a blend of this specified propylene copolymer and a propylene homopolymer, to a dynamic heat treatment in the presence of a specified amount of an organic peroxide (C). The acrylic modified polyorganosiloxane [Y] is obtained by the graft copolymerization of a specified proportion of a specified polyorganosiloxane (P1) with a specified proportion of a (meth)acrylic acid ester (P2) or with a specified proportion of a mixture of the (meth)acrylic acid ester (P2) and≤30 wt.% of another monomer (P3) capable of copolymerizing with≥70 wt.% of the (meth)acrylic acid ester (P2).
