PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent collision of a lamp and a light guide panel and realize a structure with high productivity when an external frame of the LCD is used as a case bottom, by forming an extension part at the light guide panel. CONSTITUTION: A case bottom(30) contains a liquid crystal panel and a backlight part for supply uniform light to the liquid crystal panel. A lamp housing(26) is installed at the case bottom. A light guide panel(22) has an extension part(22a) inserted into the lamp housing. A lamp(25) is installed in the space between the lamp housing and the extension part. This extension part is formed thinly wherein its end is restricted at an inner surface of the lamp housing.
