PURPOSE:A composition, containing a copolymer, prepared by a special polymerization method, a graft copolymer and an ordinary copolymer each consisting of an aromatic vinyl monomer, vinyl cyanide monomer and another vinyl monomer, and having improved hue, impact resistance and heat resistance. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by incorporating (A) 20-85pts.wt. copolymer prepared by the aqueous emulsion polymerization of (A) 65-80wt% aromatic vinyl monomer with with (B) 15-30wt% vinyl cyanide monomer and (C) 0- 20wt% copolymerizable monomer in the following manner: (B) The monomer (B) is fed at a slow rate from the initial stage of the polymerization, and the molar ratio of the monomers (A) and (C) to the monomer (B) is kept at 1.3-3 at a polymerization ratio in the range of 0-90% with 0-50pts.wt. copolymer prepared by grafting a monomeric mixture of (A) 50-80wt% monomer (A) with 15- 35wt% monomer (B) and 0-30wt% monomer (C) onto 30-80pts.wt. rubber-like polymer having the glass transition temperature <=0 deg.C and 0-50pts.wt. copolymer prepared by polymerizing a mixture of 50-80wt% monomer (A), 15- 35wt% monomer (B) and 0-30wt% monomer (C). |
