<p>PURPOSE: To use colloidal micelle derived from marine humus and activated minerals in the cultivation of microorganisms for improving efficiency of biological sewage and wastewater treatment. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (a) adding water to powdery colloidal micelle so that moisture content of the colloidal micelle powder is adjusted to 38 to 45%; (b) mixing ferrous sulfate (FeSO4) with the colloidal micelle powder in the dry weight ratio range of 1 to 5 wt.%; (c) adding hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to the mixture so that oxidation reduction potential of the mixture is adjusted to +300 to +500 mV; (d) aging the mixture for 1 to 2 months; (e) mixing and stirring the aged mixture with 8 to 10 wt.% of sodium alginate or chitosan cellulose as binder; pelletizing the mixture into a ring shape or spherical shape; (f) naturally drying the pellet for 4 to 5 days; and (g) drying the pellet using hot air having a temperature of 100 to 250 deg.C.</p> |
