PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protocol conversion apparatus capable of converting a plurality of communication protocols. SOLUTION: This protocol conversion apparatus is provided with two or more interfaces for accommodating communication protocols different depending on devices, a communication protocol specifying means for specifying the communication protocol of a communication destination on the basis of communication destination identifying information contained in a reception signal received from any one of the communication interfaces, and a protocol adjusting means for matching the communication protocol of the reception signal with the specified communication protocol and delivering the matched communication protocol to a communication interface making communication by that communication protocol.
