PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information apparatus and method for efficiently processing information accumulated in a mobile station, such as a car. SOLUTION: A transceiver 21 receives a plurality of mobile positional information, showing the position of a mobile station and time when the mobile station is located there, while a traveling log processor 27 recognizes the traveling direction, to which the mobile station is going out of a prefixed mobile segment deciding from the mobile positional information received by the transceiver 21 and prescribed positional information specifying the mobile segment of the mobile station; and information combined by corresponding the traveling direction information showing the recognized traveling direction with mobile information of the mobile station in the prefixed mobile segment is stored in a united road travel time database 28.
