PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a driving force on a driving shaft stronger than that of a conventional rotation mechanism by making crank arms longer and to obtain a continuous driving force by repetitive motion of pedals without reducing the driving force by half. SOLUTION: Chain wheels 4, the crank arms 5, and the pedals 6 are mounted on outer ends of a two-split crankshaft 2 with a ball bearing contact groove in a crank tube 1. Two gears with a free wheel device which move only to the same rotational direction are mounted to the driving shaft 10 parallel to the crankshaft 2 with a ball bearing contact groove. The driving force is transmitted from the chain wheels 4 to the two gears through chains 9. A circular cross section type belt 8 is reversely interlockably mounted on reversing pulleys 7 fixed to a body and on belt grooves 3 fixed to the board surfaces of the chain wheels 4. The driving force is continuously transmitted to the driving shaft by the repetitive motion of the pedals 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
