<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth and sand disaster foreknowing means which can be installed any place and requiring no large-scaled civil engineering construction in installation. <P>SOLUTION: This earth and sand disaster foreknowing system is constituted of a vibration generation source 1 for generating vibration, a vibration receiver 2 for measuring vibration and a measured result analyzer 3 for analyzing a measured result to output a volume moisture content. The vibration generation source 1 is installed on the upper part of a slope 4 and a plurality of the vibration receivers 2 are installed at a place separated from the vibration generation source 1 of a slope 4. There is a residential area of inhabitants 5 at the lower part of the slope 4. A plurality of the vibration receivers 2 are connected to the measured result analyzer 3 by a wireless or wire system. The measured result analyzer 3 is constituted of a volume moisture content estimating means 31, a volume moisture content output means 32, a volume moisture content distribution estimating means 33, a volume moisture content distribution output means 34, a collapse danger degree distribution estimating means 35, a collapse danger degree distribution output means 36, a threshold value setting means 37, a collapse danger degree comparing means 38 and a collapse alarm output means 39. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
