PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct properly white balance in image data imaged under mixed light sources. SOLUTION: The device and camera are equipped with a solid-state image-taking device 11 for imaging objects of shooting illuminated by a plurality of types of light source, and a signal processing means 26 that determines a mixture ratio for the plurality of the types of light source at each image region of the solid-state image-taking device 11 to classify each of the image regions into a plurality of the regions according to the mixture ratio and besides determines, from a summation of output data of the image regions belonging to the same class, correction coefficients of color temperatures or white balance at each of the types of light source to correct the white balance at each of the image regions.
