PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image scanner which realizes the reduction of both-side read time of a plurality of originals in a simple constitution and possibly reduces the jam. SOLUTION: The image scanner comprises an original paper feeder 27 for feeding an original P mounted thereon, an original reading means 17 for reading information on the original P, an original feeding means 21 for feeding the original P mounted on the feeder 27 to the original reading means 17, a one-side original paper ejector 59 provided on the opposite side through the paper feeder 27 and the reading means 17 for ejecting the original P after reading information on one side, and a both-side original paper ejector 26 disposed above the paper feeder 27 for ejecting the original P after reading information on both sides.
