PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage can having an ozone generator capable of efficiently purifying a harmful fungus or a suspended particulate of air in the garbage can by ozone generated by the ozone generator. SOLUTION: The garbage can has a body provided with a space by recessing and provided with an opening at one end; a lid for closing the space by selectively covering the opening; and the ozone generator installed on the lid, communicated with the space via a suction port and an exhaust port and purifying the air in the body space by flowing the air in the space therethrough.
