PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejector which prevents a margin from occurring on a medium, and a computer system. SOLUTION: This liquid ejector comprises a movable ejection head for ejecting a liquid, a feeding mechanism for feeding the medium, and a detection means for detecting a position of an end of the medium. The liquid ejector repeats an operation for detecting the position of the end by the detection means, an operation for feeding the medium by the feeding mechanism, and an operation for ejecting the liquid to the medium from the moving ejection head. The detection means movable with the ejection head is provided outside nozzles at both ends among a plurality of nozzles, which are provided in the ejection head, in the moving direction of the ejection head. The liquid ejector changes at least either of start and end positions to eject the liquid from the moving ejection head, depending the position of the end, detected by the detection means.
