PURPOSE: A data access circuit for a multimedia device is provided to transfer data between processors without controlling data flow by converting the data to be transferred to an external processor into the serial data and storing the serial data from the external processor in an FIFO(First Input First Output)-SRAM. CONSTITUTION: A modem processor(210) is equipped with a format converter(521) converting the data to be transferred to an MAP(Multimedia Application Processor)(220) into the serial data, and the FIFO-SRAM(522) outputting the parallel data by storing the serial data transmitted from the MAP. The MAP comprises the format converter(523) converting the data to be transferred to the modem processor into the serial data and the FIFO-SRAM(524) outputting the parallel data by storing the serial data transmitted from the modem processor.
