METHOD OF DRIVING INKJET PRINTHEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of driving an inkjet printhead. SOLUTION: The method of driving the inkjet printhead includes a step of applying a main pulse to a heater for ejecting ink and a step of applying a post pulse to the heater after the ink is ejected by the main pulse. After the main pulse is applied to the heater for ejecting ink, the ink is not ejected before meniscus on the surface of ink reaches a steady state. The meniscus on the surface of ink can be quickly stabilized by applying to the heater the post pulse having energy enough to generate a bubble but insufficient to eject ink.
