PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having excellent physical properties such as mechanical strengths, low-temperature heat sealability, thermal and chemical stabilities and electrical properties. SOLUTION: The copolymer has the following (A) to (D) and≤0.4 eV electrical activation energy and is a copolymer of ethylene with a 3-20Cα-olefin: (A) 0.86-0.96 g/cm<SP>3</SP>density; (B) 0.01-200 g/10min melt flow rate (MFR); (C) 1.5-4.5 molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn); and (D) 1.08-2.00 composition distribution parameter Cb.
