<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a space for a connecting electric wire connecting an indoor machine and an outdoor machine without giving the influence on the miniaturization of the indoor machine. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner 1 comprises the outdoor machine 2 including an outdoor board 32 for mounting outdoor electric components, the indoor machine 2 including an indoor board 8 for mounting indoor electric components, and the connecting electric wire 92 for connecting the outdoor board 32 and the indoor board 81. An indoor electric component casing 73 covering the indoor board 81 is mounted inside of the indoor machine 2, and has cut parts 802a, S at its lower part.
