PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device causing no dirt of a recording medium nor carrying failure due to floating or slacking, even when the recording medium is reversely carried. SOLUTION: The recording device comprises a recording means, a carrying roller disposed at the upstream side to the recording means, a carrying clipping means disposed oppositely to the carrying roller, a discharging roller disposed at the downstream side to the recording means, and a discharging clipping means disposed oppositely to the discharging roller.
