PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized highly-accurate magnetic encoder device having small detection waveform distortion. SOLUTION: This magnetic encoder device has a constitution wherein a hole for inserting a shaft 1 is formed on the center parts of the disc-shaped bipolarized first permanent magnet 21 and second permanent magnet 22 having linear anisotropy respectively, and the magnets are arranged so that the shift between mutual magnetization direction becomes 60 degrees and fixed to the shaft 1 which is a rotating body. A magnetic field detection element 4 is arranged on the circumferential side of the first permanent magnet 21 and the second permanent magnet 22 across an aperture, and the magnetic field detection element 4 can be mounted on a ring-shaped fixed body 3 formed by a magnetic substance.
