摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system which can conduct meter reading at a place having difficulty in the meter reading, unitary data processing, data transfer from a remote place, and elimination of mistakes in reading or transcription caused by visual observation and human entry.

SOLUTION: By combining an ASP information management system using the Internet and a digital information conversion and transfer device for the meter reading of an analog indicator, the entire work is automated and made on-line, a charge is automatically calculated, billing data are prepared in a predetermined form, the billing data can be obtained as needed, and a bill can be issued. A check for water leakage, transfer of detection information on the leakage of electricity and gas, and the management and storage of the exact past data are made possible.
