<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce the flow in a cylinder generated in a combustion chamber and suck large amount of air for combustion into the combustion chamber. <P>SOLUTION: This internal combustion engine 10 has the combustion chamber formed between a top face of a piston in the cylinder 1 and an inner wall of the cylinder 1, a suction port 4 provided with two suction port parts 4b, 4c opened in the cylinder 1 to suck air for combustion into the combustion chamber, and an injector for injecting fuel into the combustion chamber to generate the flow in the cylinder by sucking the air for combustion into the combustion chamber.
