<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle made of a synthetic resin, which has high buckling strength to prevent the bottle from deforming caused by a vertical load applied to the bottle and retains flexibility even if buckling occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The bottle made of the synthetic resin comprises a mouth stopper and a cylindrical barrel having panels. A projected or recessed reinforcing rib is formed in the longitudinal direction on each barrel portion between the panels. Each reinforcing rib has a missing part, which makes the rib discontinuous, and the missing parts of the reinforcing ribs on the barrel portions adjacent to each other are formed to be at different level vertically. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
