WHEEL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the joining strength of a wheel rim and a wheel disk and to improve the production efficiency of the wheel. SOLUTION: This wheel 18 has the wheel rim 14 and the wheel disk 16 formed with a peripheral edge 19 bent in substantially parallel to a rotation center axis P of the wheel 18 and an inclined surface 19b chamfered from an end face 19a of the peripheral edge 19 to the rotation center axis P side. After holding a press-in product 30 fitted with and inserted in the peripheral edge 19 of the wheel disk 16 into the inside surface of the wheel rim 14 by press fitting so that the inclined surface 19b of the wheel disk 16 is substantially horizontal, a welding bead 26 is formed by welding toward the inclined surface 19b to join the wheel rim 14 and the wheel disk 16.
