PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for sand and earth containing water having a dehydrating function capable of surely separating water from the sand and earth containing water and definitely enabling the replacement of the sand and earth, and its dehydration method. SOLUTION: The sand and earth storing container having a sand and earth storing space R in which the sand and earth containing water can be stored comprises flat board-shaped partitioning members 4 and 16 defining a double bottom in the container and a number of dehydrating holes 5 and 17 in the partitioning members, and the separation water of the sand and earth which contains water and is stored in the sediment storing space R is dehydrated.
