PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope not causing operation defects even by repeated bending operations and not to be damaged even when strong torsional force is added to a bending part. SOLUTION: The endoscope is provided with the bending part formed of a node ring group 90 and bent by the pulling operation of a pulling wire 88. Also, for the endoscope, in the bending part, an elevated part 80 is provided on a first end face 78a on one end side of each node ring 76, and a receiving part 82 for guiding the elevated part 80 in a rolling state at the time of abutting the elevated part 80 of the other node ring 76 adjacent to the node ring 76 and turning the adjacent node ring 76 is provided on a second end face 78b on the other end side. Also, a limiting part 84 for limiting the rotation in a direction around an axis of the adjacent node ring 76 by being abutted to the elevated part 80 when the torsional force in the direction around the axis is added to the bending part is provided on the receiving part 82 of the node ring 76.
