PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having an application module to exterminate vermin is provided to easily exterminate various insects by installing an application module, which can output various acoustic waves for vermin extermination, in a user's electronic equipment in the form of software or hardware. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal comprises a radio transceiver part(30,40), an MSM(Mobile Station Modem)(50), a control part(570), a user interface part, a speaker(60), and an application module(120). The radio transceiver part(30,40) executes radio communication with a wireless communication system. The MSM(50) processes the signals inputted to or outputted from the radio transceiver part(30,40). The control part(570) comprises a mobile operating system(571) and a virtual machine(572). The mobile operating system(571) controls the overall operations of the MSM(50). The virtual machine(572), operated by the mobile operating system(571), executes the independent code of a hardware platform. The user interface part transfers a user's command to the control part(570) so that the user can control the control part(570). The speaker(60) outputs a voice signal, processed through the MSM(50), to the user. The application module(120), downloaded from an application module providing server, is installed in the mobile terminal. The application module(120) is executed by the virtual machine(572), and stores various acoustic waves to exterminate insects.
