PURPOSE: A routing method for the best-effort service in a constrained routing MPLS(Multi Protocol Label Switching) network is provided to detour to an alternative path without transmitting the best-effort traffic to the shortest path, if reservations on traffic having a constrained condition are increased, thereby effectively using entire resources. CONSTITUTION: When traffic is applied from source nodes, an LSR(Label Switching Router) decides whether the traffic is QoS traffic or the best-effort traffic(301). In case of the QoS traffic, an MPLS network system calculates a path where the traffic is to be transmitted(302). An LSR 1 as an ingress LER(Label Edge Router) and an LSR 7 as an egress LER perform a signaling process to set the calculated path(303). Labels generated from the LSR 1 and the LSR 7 are attached to the traffic, and the traffic is transmitted to an LSR 2 or an LSR 3(304). The LSR2 to LSR 6 transmit the traffic to the LSR 7(305).
