PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for searching aerodynamic sound sources by analyzing a sound source distribution of aerodynamic sound on the basis of the theory of fluid noise. SOLUTION: In the dynamic sound source searching system, a prescribed finite calculating area is set as a region for computing velocity vectors in a flow field. The effects of vortices outside the calculating area are substituted with the effects of vortices inside the area, and an expression acquired by combining Howe's expression of vortex sound with the compact Green's function suitable for object shapes is used to determine the distribution of dipole sound sources.
