PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the U-shaped segment sequentially joint stator coil of a rotating electric machine and its manufacturing method, capable of reducing a coil impedance of the U-shaped segment for an improved electric insulation property. SOLUTION: A head tip 101 of a U-shaped segment 100 is twisted by a prescribed angle in the development direction of head inclination parts 102 and 103. Thus, the electric resistance and leakage inductance of a head-side coil end is reduced for an electric insulation property which is more improved than conventional one. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
