PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a top cover to be opened and closed even in a state of plenty of printing media being stacked. SOLUTION: The top cover 22 is openable and closable with respect to a device body 21 and has a loading part 24 for loading the printing medium 29. A medium pressing member 26 is rotatably provided to the loading part 24. An ejection guide 31 is provided to the device body 21 and has a front loading part 32 to form a plane to be flush with the loading part 24. When the top cover 22 is opened, the medium pressing member 26 is separated from the front loading part 32, and only the loading part 24 and the medium pressing member 26 are rotated.
