PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically indicate the direction of a specific location at a specific time. SOLUTION: This portable communication terminal comprises a function for making a user specify one time or more for displaying map information in which a symbol indicating a present location and a symbol indicating the direction of the specific location are recorded and storing the times as specified times; a function for detecting a present location for every specified time and transmitting it to a map information server; and a function for receiving, from the map information server, and displaying the map information in which the symbol indicating the present location transmitted to the map information server and the symbol indicating the direction of the specific location are recorded.
