PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition which comprises an inorganic pigment and a resin composition and can efficiently prevent the precipitation of the inorganic pigment without increasing the total viscosity of the coating. SOLUTION: This coating composition comprising the inorganic pigment and the resin composition is characterized by containing the inorganic pigment whose surface is subjected to a hydrophobic treatment and which has an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 2.0μm, in an amount of 0.1 to 50 wt. %.
