摘要 PURPOSE: A constant voltage generator and an electronic equipment using the constant voltage generator are provided to reduce a source voltage by eliminating a difference between currents flowing on transistors. CONSTITUTION: A band gap reference circuit(11) is connected to an output terminal and generates a constant voltage. A current supplying circuit(12) is connected to the output terminal and supplies a current thereto. A starting circuit(13) controls the current flowing on the current supplying circuit upon starting and after starting. A voltage current converting circuit(14) converts a voltage variation of the output terminal into a current variation. The starting circuit is comprised of first and second load devices(29,30), a first transistor(31) connected to the first load device, a second transistor(32) connected to the second load device, a first resistor(33) connected to the first transistor, and a second resistor(34) connected to the second transistor. An output of the voltage current converting circuit is inputted to a connection node of the second transistor and the second resistor. The current of the connection node controls the current supplying circuit.
