A sheep shearing shed has a platform (1) mounted on legs (2) with a partition wall (10) separating a sheep gangway (9). Waiting animals have access to the platform via a door (22) through which they are fetched by the worker. After shearing is complete, the animal leaves the platform via a side-window (21) in the partition to a chute back to ground level.
