PURPOSE: A diet system using a mobile phone is provided to enable a user to effectively manage diet by transmitting momentum information and weight-related information to a server of a diet managing enterprise. CONSTITUTION: An electronic scale(10) has a USB(Universal Serial Bus) port(10a). A mobile phone(20) has a USB port(20a) to be connected to the USB port(10a) of the electronic scale(10) to receive weight-related information from the electronic scale(10). A three-axis acceleration sensor(20b) and a gravity sensor are installed at the mobile phone(20) to wirelessly transmitting momentum-related information. A server(30) receives information related to weight and momentum from the mobile phone(20), and then analyzes the information to transmit the analyzed information back to the mobile phone(20).
