SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING TAXI CALL SERVICE BY USING POSITION INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing a taxi call service by using position information are provided to reduce the management cost without using an expensive TRS terminal by using an unmanned taxi call service. CONSTITUTION: Taxi position information and taxi state information received from a GPS terminal of a taxi are updated in a predetermined period. A call service request received from a passenger and a position of the passenger is identified(S301-S106). The taxi at the shortest distance from the position of the passenger is detected by searching positions of taxies(S307). A call request approval message including the passenger position information is transmitted to the detected taxi(S308). The call request information of the passenger is transmitted to the taxi when the taxi receives the call request approval message(S310,S311).
