PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal using a metal and a carbon nano-tube and a thin film transistor using the same. SOLUTION: As this terminal, a terminal for an organic material which is composed of a carbon nano-tube 3 for coming into contact with the organic material having a carbon six-membered ring, and a metal 2 coming into contact with a part of the carbon nano-tube 3 is employed. Further, this thin film transistor is constituted of at least a first electrode region, a second electrode region, and a channel which electrically connects the first electrode region with the second electrode region, and is composed of the organic material containing the carbon six-membered ring. The first electrode region and the second electrode region are composed of the carbon nano-tube coming into contact with the carbon six-membered ring of the channel at its interface, and a metal coming into contact with a part of the carbon nano-tube, respectively.
