Device for deforming a hollow profile formed as a one or multi-compartment profile comprises a stamp (1a) with a supporting part (3a) interacting with the profile chamber (20), a collar (2a) arranged directly or indirectly on the support part and sealing the front side of the profile chamber and having a base part (15a), and an opening (7a) as the channel for introducing and removing a pressure medium. The collar is a rubber-elastic stamp part arranged on the front side of the supporting part facing the profile chamber. A pre-stressed plate (6a) is arranged on the free front surface (16a) of the collar and is anchored directly or indirectly to the collar using fixing devices (8a). An Independent claim is also included for a process for deforming a one or multi-compartment profile using the above device. Preferred Features: The fixing devices, the pre-stressed plates and the collar are anchored in a stamp part lying directly on the collar and the pre-stressed plates to the stamp part by squeezing the collar.
