PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a 660 cc two-cycle reciprocating diesel engine for a light car; and to provide a fuel saving small clean combustion two-cycle reciprocating gasoline engine. SOLUTION: Both crankshafts 10 are simultaneously rotated by a bevel gear 9 and a shaft, by opposing pistons 1 laterally and inversely horizontally, by using a combustion chamber 5 in common.
