SCAFFOLDING DEVICE FOR WORK IN BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE:To constitute a scaffolding device which permits efficient and safe works by mounting a vertically movable deck of a circular body which can be moved upward and downward to plural pieces of suspending stanchions suspended from a furnace top part and fixing extensible decks which project radially to said deck. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of suspending stanchions 2 are suspended from a furnace top deck 12 at equal intervals along the circumferential wall in a blast furnace and a vertically movable deck 3 is fixed in a circular shape freely movably in position to the stanchions 2; further many extensible decks 4 which are freely contractable in a radial direction are provided in the outside circumferential part of the deck 3. In the stage of moving of the scaffolding device upward or downward, the operator removes the pins 5 coupling the stanchions 2 and the deck 3, and winds wire ropes upward or downward with a winch 62 and the deck 3 is fixed to the stanchions 2 by means of the pins 5 in a desired position. If necessary, the extensible beams 41 of the decks 4 are extended with manually winding winches 42 and planking is placed thereon to form scaffoldings.
