PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a person from slipping and tumbling when the person steps on the upper face of the lower frame even when the upper face of substantially flat face of the lower frame gets wet with rainwater or the like. SOLUTION: The opening device is provided with a frame 2 formed of upper and lower frames 2a, 2b and right and left vertical frames 2c, 2d and screens 3, 4 provided openably/closely in the right and left direction in the frame 2. The upper face 12 of the lower frame 2b is formed in a substantially flat face, a nonslip member 63 is provided on the upper face 12 of the lower frame 2b. The lower frame 2b has integrally or separately an angle part 6 extended to the indoor side, a nonslip member 64 is provided on the upper face of the angle section 62, guide grooves 20, 21 guiding the lower suspending pieces 17, 18 of the lower part of the screens 3, 4 are formed at the upper face of the lower frame 2b. Horizontal airtight members 42, 43 sealing the gap between the suspending pieces 17, 18 are provided in the guide grooves 20, 21.
