PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the discharging precision of ink by preventing self discharge of piezoelectric elements of a nozzle head from which ink is not discharged for a long time. SOLUTION: A driving device of the nozzle head which discharges a liquid body from each nozzle by operating pressure generating elements set corresponding to a plurality of nozzles, respectively comprises a driving waveform generation part which generates a first driving waveform W1 for discharging the liquid body, and a second driving waveform W2 for minutely vibrating the pressure generating elements without discharging the liquid body; and a driving waveform application part which selects and applies the first driving waveform W1 and/or the second driving waveform W2 to the pressure generating elements.
