<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector cleaning tool capable of easily and surely cleaning a spliced end face of the optical connector in the state in which the optical connector is inserted in the connector housing. <P>SOLUTION: The optical connector cleaning tool for wiping clean the spliced end face 61a of the optical connector 60 in the connector housing by the motion of a cleaning tape 2, and it is provided with a tool main body 10, an insertion part 20 which is projecting from this tool main body 10 and is formed so as to be inserted into the connector house; the insertion part 20 is provided on the tip face 24 with a head part 23 for securing an abutment area of the cleaning tape 2 to the spliced end face 61a of a ferrule 61; and the head part 23 is supported by a spring part 41 elastically deformable to pressing force to the head part 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
